AXIS TENANT ADVISORS FINDS FITTING LOCATION FOR MEN'S WEARHOUSE

Men's Wearhouse, one of North America's largest specialty retailers, has a new home for its corporate employees. No longer occupying space within the company’s southwest Houston warehouse, corporate employees of the 33-year old company now work at a new office building – 6380 Rogerdale near the intersection of Beltway 8 and the Westpark Tollway.

Men's Wearhouse originally considered building a new facility on excess land near the firm's distribution center on West Bellfort in southwest Houston. But after doing the cost analysis, it was determined that a lease was the best option. Scot Ison, President of AXIS Tenant Advisors, worked closely with company executives to find the location that best suited their individual needs.

According to Ison, "The office area was too small." The upgraded location of 206,000 square feet nearly doubles the amount of office space for the Houston-based public company. The corporate relocation also allows warehouse operations to expand.

Men’s Wearhouse was co-founded by George Zimmer 33 years ago and is most recognizable from commercials that feature him delivering his “I guarantee it” promise. The company was also named by Fortune magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" in America.
